CA-IS310x is a high stability isolated error amplifier, which can be widely used in power supply systems. The secondary side of the chip integrates a high performance wide-band operational amplifier, which can be used to sensor and amplify the error signal. The amplified error signal is then transmitted to the primary side and buffered to the output.
Compared with optical-coupler-based solutions, CA-IS310x has faster response, higher stability and longer lifetime. What’s more, unlike optical-couplers, the CA-IS310x transfer function does not change with temperature and time.
CA-IS310x supports a wide range of 3V~20V power supply voltage. It also provide a 3V regulated output and a 1.225V high precision voltage reference on each side of the chip. The CA-IS310x devices have two available isolation ratings of different packages: 2.5kV in 16-leads SSOP package and 5kV in 16-leads SOP(W) package. The specified operating temperature range is –40°C to 125°C.
