Automotive, Dual Channel Standard Digital Isolators

The CA‐IS372x‐Q1 devices are high‐performance dual‐channel digital isolators with up to3.75kVRMS (narrow‐body package) or 5kVRMS (wide‐body package) isolationrating and ultra‐fast data rate. The CA‐IS372x‐Q1 devicesprovide high electromagnetic immunity and low emissionsat low power consumption, while isolating CMOS digitalI/O. Each isolation channel has a logic input and outputbuffer separated by capacitive silicon dioxide (SiO2)insulation barrier, and each channel input integratedSchmitt trigger to provide excellent noise immunity forautomotive applications.

The CA‐IS3720‐Q1 features two channels transferringdigital signals in one direction for applications such asisolated digital I/O. The CA‐IS3721‐Q1/CA‐IS3722‐Q1devices have 2 channels with 1 channel in each direction,making them ideal for isolating the Tx and Rx lines of atransceiver, such as RS485, CAN etc. communication.When the input is either not powered or is open‐circuit,the default output is low for devices with suffix L and highfor devices with suffix H.

The CA‐IS372x‐Q1 family are specified over the ‐40°C to+125°C operating temperature range and are available in8‐pin SOIC narrow body package and 16‐pin SOIC widebody package.
